Trying to fix my phpBB3 forums

I had a mod installed on it for Arcade type games. You know those gaming mods that so many forums have these days for small flash based games.

I didn't really like the mod so wanted to get rid of it. All I did was to install a new phpBB3 version and kept the sql entries in the database. But that didn't seem to work.

Now every time somebody tries to register the forums they can't. Every time I want to make some changes in the Admin panel I can't. Because there are files missing due to that mod that I didn't uninstall properly.

Trying to work on a fix. Lets see. PhpBB3 forums are very hard to maintain once something goes wrong. Especially for people who don't have a programming background. :P

That PhpBB3 Mascot "Bertie" is kinda cute

He doesn't look that cute in blue. But looks pretty cute in red. This small picture of 4 of them working together to get to bottle of wine is pretty cute.

Just installed Avast and New Windows

I installed new windows on My Computer and Laptop with Avast. Now both computers are running so smooth. I feel so relieved now. Eset Sucks. I don't know what people are paying them for when the can have quality Anti Virus Software like Avast for free.

Anyway, it's my bad really. I never really paid any attention towards the world of anti virus and anti spyware etc. I simply stuck with the current software that I had.

Times change.

It's very hard to uninstall ESET Smart Security 4

Every time I try uninstalling it there's a log file in application data. I was able to remove this folder somehow but I still can't get rid of this software.

I'll just have to reinstall windows just for his and I'm never going to use ESET Smart Security ever again.

Finally, I have RoadsOut.Com again ..

Transfer process is complete, it took so long, no thanks to my old registrar. Anyway, it will point back to blogger.com in an hour or two. Then in a couple of days time, just finalizing some updates on the site, it will be back to the old hosted state, with a forum and all that perks. :)
