Traveling alone isn't fun

Can you imagine having to travel alone with no one to give you company all your way to which ever destination you're going? It's not a funny picture.

I mean, a few hours trip is alright to go alone. But it's always better to have a friend or two around to give company.

What are you really afraid of?

Everybody is afraid of one thing or another. When people say they're not really afraid of anything. They're obviously hiding something.

Conventional scare crows and ghosts apart anything from like losing a friend, credit rating, job or even a pet could be the most scariest thoughts for people. The point is that being scared and feeling insecure is in the nature of human beings. It's not easy to run away from this fact.

While people can make emphatic attempts at trying to 'hide' these type of emotions they're still there. Best thing one could do is to minimize the factors that could arouse such type of thoughts and events resulting in being a scare problem. Like indulging in positive activities both beneficial to health of body and soul.

Travis Pastrana makes the New Year Eve Jump

That's a pretty scary jump. He did it with ease.

The new World's Tallest Building

Burj Dubai has been identified as the new tallest building in the world which is 828 metres (2717ft) at the moment. This makes the building twice the height of Empire State Building.

At the opening ceremony, thousands of residents and tourists crowded around the base of the half-mile tall tower, which is at least 160 storeys high.

Dubai's ruler unveiled a plaque, kicking off inaugural festivities.

They included traditional Gulf Arab dance performances and skydivers with parachutes emblazoned with the colours of the UAE flag.

Cool Album cover by Lisa Scinti for Watcha Say!

I liked it,

Another one by her for Iyaz - Replay. I think this one is better.

Would you want to travel in time?

I really don't think I would want to travel back in time to change something I've done so that it will change the present. Simply because I'm not sure about others but the mistakes I've made in the past helped me learn a few very good lessons. Which is why I am what I am today. I appreciate those mistakes not because I made them, because I learned from them and changed my behaviour in future.

I really wouldn't care about traveling to the future to see where I am. It will kill the enthusiasm of 'not knowing' what will happen and the 'hope' for what I would want. Plus, I won't be able to enjoy my present, what I'm currently experiencing.

I like to savor my experiences and to enjoy them as I take them which is the way it should be and is actually in the real life at the moment.

I don't like movies with subtitles!

Having text floating around just at the bottom of the screen is simply annoying. It distracts you from enjoying the actual scene making you read the text that been written on the screen.

I suppose it's just simple human nature that makes you do that. Text floating around consistently in the same colours just has to be read. Mind keeps on concentrating on it. With that, you lose the fun of actually experiencing the movie as it happens. One time you're looking at the subtitles later you're looking at the actors faces which call all get confusing and slightly frustrating too.

I would always prefer watching movies without subtitles, especially when I can understand the language pretty easily.

What to do when nothing's of your liking on TV?

Well, who says you need TV to actually watch television? Internet is the next best place for watching television if you're not getting anything of your liking on the conventional television.

There are numerous websites on the internet where you can watch free tv and the programs of your liking. Heck I just finished the Season 1 of the show called Dexter that I never could watch on TV due to my hectic working schedule.

I also watched all seasons of LOST online whenever I got the time instead of waiting for TV Channels to run the episodes on their appointed times. Which is the best thing about the television online.

http://www.hulu.com is a great website for watching online tv shows. But some countries are not allowed for viewing content on them so you can try an alternate website like http://www.free-tv-video-online.info/ if that one doesn't work.

I think Night Shift Workers get more tired

Night shift workers would get more tired because they would find less time and absolute peace to sleep while in the day time.

Sleeping during day time isn't easy because you could be disturbed by extra noises and sounds due to all the daily activities being carried on in your surroundings during day time. Night shift workers also tend to get less hours of sleep because they would have to do their personal stuff during the day when they're shifts are off since everything 'normal' is happening during the day.

In my opinion it's best to find a job that starts early in the morning and ends till later in the evening if not before.

About making money online ..

This is a very heavily used 'search keyword' for any search engine. I know many people dream about the idea of making money online fast and quick. But it's just not simple as that folks. Trust me, I've been there.

To really make money online, you need to have a few skills on your hands. Like the knowledge of php, mysql databases, web designing etc. Then you need to think of an out of the box idea that is really going to pull people's socks over when they see it. Like Twitter.com, Facebook.com etc. Those things are where the real money is at.

But yes, I know if you really knew all that you probably wouldn't be searching for ways to make money. Well, there are small sites like MicroWorkers.Com that can get yourself wet to start with.

All it requires is to finish some simple tasks like, make a post, write an article, review something for a promised payment if you get the job done. Which is pretty neat.

It's not a lot of money, but at least you can be happy about earning something online out of no where to show off your friends and mates.

Your Comments could be saved on more than one location

Ever wondered about your posts on various forums or blogs being recorded and being displayed on other blogs or websites for relational and sequential purposes?

Well, I found this website, which is cool in a way that compares comments made by various users on different websites and then merges comments by calculating which comments were from the same author on any number of websites it finds, then shows them all in one page.

http://www.backtype.com. Simply search for RoadsOut.Com on that site and you'll find a few of my comments on other blogs that I made also leaving behind the link to my site for the 'just in case' scenario.

It doesn't have all the comments I made, of course, because they'd simply require a lot of time and resources to track. But it's still a good start for that site.

It's just another relational kind of search engine that people certainly will find useful and should become very popular with time. Mind you, it has an Alexa rating in the 8000's so is quite popular already.

My New Year Resolution ..

My New Year Resolution is to avoid getting myself in bad type of situations. Wish me and my family and everyone a blissful new year and hope things are just A alright!

Have a good one!

Happy New Year!

Wikipedia almost completing their target of 7.5 Million

I'm pretty positive they're going to make it. They're at 7.3 Million. I'm not exactly sure about what date they started asking for donations. But it could only have been for the month of December.

They've really turned things around since numbers looked pretty grim for them in the start of the campaign. Credit has to go to their finance / administration department getting so many donations in a small period of time.

No doubt, Wikipedia is one of the most used and productive websites throughout the world. People were more than willing to donate for their cause.

I'm happy for Wikipedia, but I did not donate, because I simply thought they didn't really need asking for donations when they could simply have good Ad campaigns and sponsors to serve their purpose.

Thinking about getting sponsors, I wonder how much could they have injected into their infrastructure if they got real sponsors, given they could generate 7.3 Million within a month! - simply through donations!

Amazing! Isn't it?
