Wow! Twitter is over capacity at the moment.

Everybody doesn't have huge buildings filled with big servers you know. Twitter is just finding it too hard to cope with all the small tweets everybody has to share all the time with the world.

The whale is so cute though. I'm sure they're going to fix it in due time but it's kinda relaxing to see internet giants finding problems sometimes too. Not in the way that I'm glad they're having problems. In a way that it's nice to know everybody's not perfect. ;)

P.S. It only does that for a couple of seconds then return back to its original state once you refresh the page after a while.

People make typos on Roads too ...

Now this is a funny one. We've all hda << >> those occasions when we make typos on the internet, while we chat, blog or write comments on facebook. I for one make a lot of typos. Because mostly I'm just flying with the text. I'm just trying to write and fast as possible and get over with the post.

But this is an odd one: A road contractor hired to paint the word "school" on a freshly paved stretch of road near Southern Guilford High School in North Carolina rendered the traffic area in question a "shcool" zone.

Prayers for the afflicted in Pakistan Floods

It's very heartbreaking to see people suffering so much with floods in Pakistan at the moment. The damage is actually bigger than the earth quake that came in 2008. These are the worse monsoon floods ever to hit in the last 80 years. Even worse than Tsunami and floods in Haiti.

I hope God takes us out of this misery, forgive our sins and helps us rebuild everything from scratch.

I know how hard it must be right now for the people who are suffering. I can't even imagine. I feel somehow bad about myself not being able to do anything for people who are suffering right now.

May God have mercy on Pakistani nation and save them from all the misery that has befallen upon them. Amen!

This is a cool new site for finding answers about things you'd like to know. Concept is pretty simple, this website makes a lists of the most asked questions and informationon the internet. All you have to do is search for your required question and you'll get an answer for that.

It's a pretty nice idea and is worth a look.

I haven't come across something like this in a while. Maybe it's a very old thing or just haven't received enough attention from people. But there are a few nice websites that let you record your voice and send emails to other people using their services with your recorded voice.

I thought this was a fun toy to play with and it actually could save a lot of time when you need to send long emails. All you have to do is record your message on their website and then click send. The other person would be able to listen to the message very easily.

If you're having time syncing problems with windows time server this is a very good software to fix the issue. All you have to do is run this software once and it will sync the time automatically for your system.

Just make sure that you've set the correct time zone and the day light saving options in your windows settings.

Trying to fix my phpBB3 forums

I had a mod installed on it for Arcade type games. You know those gaming mods that so many forums have these days for small flash based games.

I didn't really like the mod so wanted to get rid of it. All I did was to install a new phpBB3 version and kept the sql entries in the database. But that didn't seem to work.

Now every time somebody tries to register the forums they can't. Every time I want to make some changes in the Admin panel I can't. Because there are files missing due to that mod that I didn't uninstall properly.

Trying to work on a fix. Lets see. PhpBB3 forums are very hard to maintain once something goes wrong. Especially for people who don't have a programming background. :P

Just installed Avast and New Windows

I installed new windows on My Computer and Laptop with Avast. Now both computers are running so smooth. I feel so relieved now. Eset Sucks. I don't know what people are paying them for when the can have quality Anti Virus Software like Avast for free.

Anyway, it's my bad really. I never really paid any attention towards the world of anti virus and anti spyware etc. I simply stuck with the current software that I had.

It's very hard to uninstall ESET Smart Security 4

Every time I try uninstalling it there's a log file in application data. I was able to remove this folder somehow but I still can't get rid of this software.

I'll just have to reinstall windows just for his and I'm never going to use ESET Smart Security ever again.
