Fast Browser Search Toolbar

One thing I've found out of the blue that I've come to really hate is Fast Browser Search.

Most people get it while trying to install My Web Tattoo program onto their browsers. They think it's a plugin of some sort and try to uninstall it via the browser plugins.

But you really have to go to the add/remove programs menu in Control Panel and remove fast browser from there to completely wash it off your computer.

This program was annoying, all my searches ended up in Fast Browser results. And the results weren't great either. Google has far better search results than any other search engine. I'm never satisfied with my search unless I've searched something on Google.

Just the look and feel of Google is enough to satiate my search hunger. ;)

  1. I've tried removing it thru my control panel. It just blinks. Then I tried doing it by the web page instructions. But oh no that won't work either. I hate the thing. It keeps trying to change my browser.

  2. Hello Anonymous,

I'm sorry that you're having this problem.

If you're a Firefox user, try typing "about:config" in your url bar and press enter.

You'll see a bunch of options, just search for "fast browser" in the new filter bar that will appear at the top of the page.

Right click and select 'reset' on any of the filters that show up after the fast browser search.

    Hope that helps.

  3. Instead of asking random people for help, why not just call the company that makes the software. Their number is 1-800-831-8940. They helped me in about 5 minutes

  4. Just for the record, that number isn't displayed on the fastbrowsersearch.com website. Although I did find out an email for contacting them.
