BBC Urdu Sucks!

You know it's kinda annoying to keep on getting ads from BBC Urdu while you're trying to watch your favourite videos on YouTube.

First of all, I'm not that much interested in news. Secondly, I went on the website just to check it out and also make YouTube some money out of the whole escapade!

But the urdu writing on the website is pretty hard to understand. It's not the regular Urdu font style that you would see normally in books or other places.

They really need to work on that.

So again, BBC Urdu sucks! I appreciate that you guys are trying to make an effort in portraying the news as you think it is in Urdu as well. But don't. No body's asking you to.

Pakistan losing to India in Cricket World Cup Semi Final 2011

It is kinda sad to watch Pakistani team falling to India in the Semi Final of a World Cup. Worst thing about it is that I don't really watch cricket matches just for that reason. If Pakistan loses then it hurts.

But Pakistan lost the match because of their own mistakes. They dropped too many catches and when they managed to bowl out India for a reasonably low target which was very much achievable, their batting just faltered.

To give credit to Afridi, he did the best he could in all the games. He was consistently taking wickets in all matches. He created catches out of Tendulkar in this match as well but not body seemed to grab on to the opportunity when it arrived.

None of the batsmen looked to bat with a real purpose of winning the game. Everybody seemed to come and chip in with a small knock but never really seemed to man the innings in a way a winning team does.

Younis Khan should really have done much better than what he did on the play ground. Besides dropping Sachin Tendulkar, he wasted too many deliveries when he was batting. This added to the overall pressure on the team and then got out without adding much on the score board.

Misbah played extremely slow for anybody's liking. If you compare his dot balls to the score remaining to win for Pakistan you won't find a lot of difference there.

Cricket World Cup 2011

I think South Africa will win this years Cricket World Cup.

It's really sad to see such tragedy unfolding when people in Japan are suffering so much and the country is on a brink of Nuclear Fallout.

I'm extremely glad for Godaddy File Restore feature ...

I messed up my files by simply uploading an update package without backing up anything. I always take those type of risks and mess things up for myself. I shouldn't do that.

But anyway, my site went down and I got a few errors. But now it's all cool because I was able to restore old files using this feature.

Amazing!

I kinda messed up the files on my site ...

I'm so angry at the moment ....

Will take some time to fix stuff ...

Lets see what the new year has in store ...

Hoping for better things to happen around the world. An overall better position both economically and peacefully.

I would like to start some further studies this year, hopefully.

I am going to change the layout of this blog. Going to do it my style instead of using some custom made design.

Wishing for health and prosperity and tranquility.

Plus I think I'm going to buy an Xbox360 this year.

Wikileaks sucks!

I think the whole Wikileaks deal is a bunch of B.S. Why? Not because the stories in it might not be true. But because I think it's all about political propaganda. Making people aware of some facts about selective people/governments to achieve some unknown objectives.

Besides I'm least bit interested in politics. I'd rather be watching a movie or something instead of wasting even a minute of my time on that website.

That's my advise to anyone. Don't waste your time around things that don't affect you directly. Do something useful with you time. If you can't do useful stuff with your time, at least don't involve yourself in something that doesn't have positive affects on your brain!

Php: Easy way for creating a Global Function.

Starting php script:

Before the createglobal(); is called the value of variable stays to local value. Which is 5. But as soon as the function is called the value becomes to 10 which was defined in the createglobal function.

Free Calls from Gmail could be misused

I think it's fair to say that while this is an amazing service but then again a lot of people could be misusing this service as well.

For example, many people could start making prank calls or sales calls from other countries to U.S. or Canada. Getting the ability for free calls is only going to give air to such acts which is going to make many people very annoyed.

I think Google should introduce some type of credibility before people can use this service from any gmail account.

I seriously need to upgrade my PC!

I have a 2.4 Giga Processor and 1 GB ram. That's pretty much what I know about my PC. But I am going to completely upgrade my system because I'm going to get into serious gaming from now on.

So for that I will need a very powerful system. Something like Intel Core Duo with a GForce Card.

Will have to save up some cash before I can do that.

Eid is coming soon ..

I'm really anxious for Eid this time because I'll get to eat in day light again after the whole month of torment and thirst with the summer on our heads.

You know, you can't eat in ramazan etc. I mean, I am not complaining about all the blessings of God in this month but still this Ramazan has been physically really challenging.
