The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild – What Is Hinox?

Hinox is a big ogre that appears in the Legend of Zelda Super Bowl commercial around 18 seconds in to the video.

It seems to be the biggest and baddest enemy that you might find in the game and this is the latest version of the monster that we can see in the gameplay.

He has got a big array of bombs that he uses to kill and hurt you in the game. Good thing we don't have those type of Cyclops in real life!

Rocket League is getting its own range of toy cars

Psyonix the company behind Rocket League is finally taking the game up to a new level where they are introducing Toy Cars which are going to be representing the actual cars in the game.

Twelve different car models will be going on sale, including Octane, Dominus, Masamune, Hotshot, Grog, X-Devil, Merc, and Backfire, as well as four “limited variants.” Each car comes in its own miniature Rocket Ball, and Psyonix says there will be unique in-game content downloadable with each purchase. Prices and exact availability for the cars are still unknown

But this is definitely good news for collectors as they will having something to add to their whole list of inventory.

The PS4 will support external hard drives in upcoming update

It seems that people at Sony have finally realized that it's probably easier for users to use external Hard drives instead of upgrading hard drives all the time. Which most people are not comfortable doing anyway.

This is a feature that Xbox Users already have had for some time now. I believe Sony was banking on the fact that it's probably much easier to replace hard drives on PS4 so people would just do it anyway.

But still it's seems like a complicated process for many users who purchase consoles for ease of use rather than having to physically unscrew the hard drive, back it up and then install new software on it to make it usable.

The Martian by Andy Weir

I'm not really sure what to say about this book other than that it's very good. I could not always get the whole science but. The way the things were going. But Andy does explain everything in lay man's terms so it does make sense most of the times.
It was nice to see that the technology that was talked about sounded like it was possible and not from too many years in the future.
I was hoping there would be a green awesome looking Martian queen too bit that wasn't going to happen.
I saw a video on YouTube that they ate going to make a movie on this as well. I'm sure it's going to be an award winning movie.
It was amazing to find out that with many things going against you one could still find the faith to keep on fighting and survive. It was almost as if the character knew he was going to survive in the end.

"Influx" could there be things we are missing ..

I wonder why this novel isn't as famous as it should have been but i did like it. The fact that there is high end technology that we can only think of but it's not yet allowed to be available to general public makes you wonder if that is actually true in the real world as well.

I tend to think there is always something that is held back from the society but it could be limited and not on that much of a grand scale as shown in the book.

We have to consider the economical factors as well. Huge organizations have the means to distribute new technology and are always looking to get ahead with the competition. So they would do anything to ensure a proper distribution of technology.

But still there could be forces like the BTC controlling the world technology or information secretly.

Maybe that could explain the alien phenomenon as well. I always believe it's a bunch of hoax and it is a concept used to cover up or show people something that they are not supposed to understand.

The kill order by James dashner

Read the book a few days ago and basically it tells about a few events before actually the Flare Virus broke free rampant on the world.

Describes how the government actually spread the initial virus so that they could kill enough people in the world for it to be able to support the rest. Since the resources were scarce and all.

It was a stupid idea altogether and I would never support that anyway. Killing half of the planet so the remaining half can survive?

Strong will survive anyway and weak will succumb to the hardships so they should have just waited it out.

So anyways there was a lot of killing and turns out that Teresa was one of the first people to be discovered as an immune to the virus.

A group of four people set out to protect her too in the midst of their own efforts to survive where everything seems impossible.

Too many people die but they are able to send her off through the flat trans (flat transportation through a portal from one place to another) but die in the end.

It was heart breaking to know that the little girl they saved after so much trouble, death and suffering just had to die for nothing on the end and they never get the cure either. (Teresa dies in the 3rd book right in the end).

Quite a disappointing end but the story comes closer to perfection like that i suppose.

The Death Cure (The Maze Runner) ending!

I would have to say that reading the trilogy things felt very natural and the flow was good.

I was so interested in the novel that I finished the books in a week.

Although I felt at times that other characters were not explained as much at times. Which is completely fine as it is completely up to the author as much as he wants to describe his creations.

Thomas played a very heroic part in the first novel but I kept on expecting same kind of special deeds from him that would make me jump up from my seat but unfortunately that didn't happen.

Still Thomas as a character was amazing and did everything right. Can't say there was anything wrong with him at all.

I was hoping Teresa and Thomas would have reconciled after a certain point of time. Even if they didn't I was okay with it but the way she died in the end seemed as if the novel was being climaxed in a hurry.

Would have been a much happier ending if she had lived. Poor girl though.

Otherwise ending was perfect. It was obvious that the cure wasn't coming. I never thought how getting brain patterns would help create a drug which would resolve the issue with the flare.

A better line of action would have been working on the lines of "bliss" acting as a numbing agent that would help people control their anger.

People could have been isolated instead of immunes being captured the sick could have been experimented on.

It just doesn't make sense to run tests on people who are already fine instead of people who are sick.

Anyway, still it was amazing. Hats off to James Dashner. Good job!

Still gotta read The Kill Order...

Not wanting to sleep

I always have this wish of not wanting to sleep staying awake and procrastinating over different stuff. Doesn't matter if it is going to be useful or not.

Then I give up and sleep.

Been watching Big Bang Theory

It seems as if though the show was made for smart people but I think in reality its for dumb people or for guys who have been geeks in their lives and found it hard to cope with social life.

Gets really confusing sometimes to relate the show to anything. But it is good fun to watch though.

My thoughts on Twitch

I suppose video sharing sites like youtube do have thier legacy but twitch is doing a wonderful job.
Its almost like watching a live broadcast on television.
Twitch isnt the only service for real time video streaming but since I have been watching mostly twitch so I thought I would share a few words.
Its mostly based on games. I like watching GTA5 online. I don't play the game online but its fun to watch others play. Besides there is a chat room so people get to chat and enjoy the show.

Eye doctor

An eye-doctor was having his 40th birthday, and gathered lots of friends and family in his house. His wife had made him a surprise cake, and led her husband blindfolded to a table where the cake was placed. Eagerly the doctor removed and looked down on the cake, and immediately burst into a crazed laughter, for there in front of him was a huge cake, with 40 marzipan eyes! The guest, asked him why he laughed, and after some minutes of laughing and whipping his eyes, the doctor said:"I'm just thinking of my buddy who will be 50 next week, who is a gynecologist! "

Sleepy before work?

It's funny that if we have an off day we will have more energy to stay awake and do more stuff to pass time.
Some people could be the opposite but I dont like to sleep unless it is absolutely necessary and I can't go on at all.
But when comes the time for work I feel tired and unwilling to go for some odd reason.
Suppose that's human nature.

Clinomania

Teacher: "Where were you yesterday? Were you sick? " Me: "Yeah, I was home with Clinomania." Teacher: "Oh, OK. Excused."
Clinomania:(n) The excessive desire to stay in bed

Try to understand

Jesus saw a crowd chasing down a woman to stone her and approached them. "What's going on here, anyway?" he asked. "This woman was found committing adultery, and the law says we should stone her!" one of the crowd responded. "Wait," yelled Jesus. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Suddenly, a stone was thrown from out of the sky, and knocked the woman on the side of her head. "Aw, c'mon, Dad..." Jesus cried, "I'm trying to make a point here!" Agent Carter and the new season for Marvels

I dont think I would be able to digest eight episodes based on just agent carter. Sure she is good loooing and everything but still how muh if a story can you twist based on one character.
Even the first season looked a little bit on the low budget side because we didnt get any appearances from the main characters.
I would prefer seeinf more of agent colson and his team. Agent is the only actor that I basically like in tge whole series since he seemed authentic enough as in reminds you if someone you know from the Marvels movies.

Will Gram and Hannibal eating human flesh?

The second season has taken a nice fold where it seemed that Will shared food that seemed human flesh. Otherwise Hannibal would have known.

Will is trying to get close to hannibal but to achieve what really? Does he want hannibal to come forward and commit a murder in front of him and then to expose him to the whole world?
if so then Hannibal usually likes to watch others killing other people so this might not work out perfectly for Will.

Twitter more fun than facebook

I think twitter is a much more faster way of communicating your thoughts and you don't give up too much of your life and past history in order to do that.
Its quick to make an update which doesnt really have to be about your life.

Just finished "Bioshock Infinite: Episode 2"

Oh my God! Just when you thought ending for Bioshock Infinite was enough of a huge Twist Around! There we have it, Episode 2 has taken the game onto a whole new level of "Awesome".

It turns out that Elizabeth goes back into a time Rift to save Sally, the little sister who was trapped down there when she wanted to teach one of the worst Comstocks a lesson of his life. Upon going down there she finds that she actually died right after Booker got attacked by "Big Daddy". He ended up killing the poor girl/woman as well. Which was sad.

Now for some odd reason if she goes to the same time shift / tear where she died. In doing so, she loses all her special abilities and can't open new tears. Because she has disturbed the natural universal laws of some kind. Who knows what's the science behind the whole drama!

In short, she has to do a few things before she can get the sunken building to surface, for Atlas so that he can free the little sister, using a Time Travel/Tear opening machine developed by Dr Suchong. In doing so, sweet Elizabeth has to suffer a lot of injuries on the hands of thugs trying to kill her. Also trapped between a rogue Big Daddy trying to attack anything it sees in the path, other than the actual bad guys!

But the turn of events really become interesting when the last door behind all the doors is revealed to us all of a sudden. Once after Atlas kills Elizabeth, failing to meet the terms of his agreement with her upon getting "The Ace" which is supposed to be a pass phrase. He then uses the pass phrase that starts a stream of events causing a plan crash which we realize was the actual start of original Bioshock. Everything flashes infront of you in the end right from the start and then back to the end.

It was a chain of events where Elizabeth died in the end to start the same chain which will lead to cause the events again in Bioshock and then Bioshock Infinite, just to save the little sisters because she could not bear the death of a child on her soul like Comstock could!

Amazing game, has to be played right from the start till the end.

Sad ending for the novel "Allegiant" and a possible different ending?

Just finished reading all the three novels, "Divergent", "Insurgent" and "Allegiant" and I would say that the stories couldn't be more perfect. The ending was a bit sad with 'Tris' having to die in the end. Fulfilling her nature to lounge into terrible situations and coming out every time as a winner.

She does come out as a winner after all in the end but leaves everyone around her in a very sad frame of mind. Besides the characters in the novel even the reader is set to feel a deep crushing feeling when going through the lines where she is shot two times by David.

I still can't get over it just like Tobias couldn't get over it at first once he hears the bad news. But I suppose that was the climatic ending the a great story deserved.

Nevertheless the more I think the more I imagine what if things were done a bit differently. In a more peaceful frame of mind. No one could have changed the thinking of GP's in a day or two. But if Tris and the gang could have directly gone down into the city telling David that they would try to talk both the parties representing "Factionless" and the "Allegiant" into making peace with each other.

I'm definitely sure Evelyn would have listened to her son and Joannah would have given her assent to peaceful talks as well. Given the fact that the "outsiders" were going to wipe them out of their memories if they didn't comply.

I'm sure there could be many variations of a simple solution that would have been far less dramatic as the end proclaimed to be. It wouldn't have given the final everlasting blow to the novel as it does with Tris's death but what can we say.  I just keep on thinking that the main character that I came to love in the whole story dies in the end and there was nothing I could do to stop it. (Not that I was in the story like Tobias).

But a part of me feels just like Tobias would feel about Tris and at times I do feel like I was there inside the story with her, holding her hand and kissing her and going alongside her on all her missions.

I loved the novels. Amazing story(s).

Everything is not possible

No! That is right, it's just not. No matter how many times we think about it, reason, assume, all possibilities for everything that can possibly happen at a given point of time can't happen because we don't have the control over all the factors that make forward a situation most forthcoming.

So, for the ones who can't control all factors that contribute towards the design of a certain situation, everything is not possible.

But what if someone else does has this power, control, the ability to balance and imbalance whatever seems fit or doesn't. Or what if everything just happens randomly and no one controls it. It just happens, stroke of good or bad luck defines all the outcomes. If that is true than what is the purpose of writing this blog, it is just a course of random actions, a few keystrokes here and there. Written in a sequence and they mean something to some and written without any sequence - could they mean something to some too?

Just finished reading "Under the Dome" by Stephen King

As I expected the idea as grand as the one we have in Under the Dome never ceased to amaze me until the end. The fact that people can bring their own end when they're trapped and power hungry mongers want everything for themselves has been proven so beautifuly in this novel that no one can deny it.

The idea that the dome can't be destroyed by humans also resolutely proclaims the fact that we can't always control every situation so thus have to make the best of the situation at hand instead of making things worse for us.

It's nice to believe that there are beings out there much more powerful and we might actually be a small play pen in their world or like a toy but I wouldn't just want to go in that direction unless I saw something to change the way I think.

Either way, a very good book to read, certainly opens up your mind about the world and the possibilities and the imagination of the author never ceases to amaze me.

I loved the character of Big Jim, even though he was a villian, but seemed to be a man of a soft heart for the Lord as well, at times. I liked the way he used to pray even though it felt sometimes he was blurting out simple orders to God. Nevertheless a man who kept the Lord in his heart, even till the last moments of his life.

All the characters were pictured with huge clarity. Although I would have hoped the main hero of the novel, "Barbie" had a bigger role to play other than having been locked up in a cell for most of the time.

Again goes on to prove that one person alone cannot change the fate of everyone, it was the whole town or the combined efforts of many indivuals that saw them through.

Fire came from the propane tanks up on the Radio Station, which was a nice addition to the  climax of the story. A way for Stephen King telling us that I don't have to write out a whole scene in order for you to understand the background story. Which was good in its own way.

Life, Death, Life and Zombies!

I've always wondered why people make movies based on concepts regarding Zombies and why then people as spectators like to watch and are intrigued by watching the same movies.

It's not a new concept, it has been there for many years. Older than you and me I believe. But why on earth would it be of any good?

Funny thing is that its the same concept that has carried forward over the years and no matter what you do movies and video games based on such concepts generally do well or average at least. (Exceptions are always there, but that's not the point).

Coming to the point, I believe that there is a deeper connection with the life as we live it and zombies, otherwise, I don't think people would even give it a second thought.

You live a good or bad life, but you're alive and then suddenly you die and  remain dead for a while, rotting away, dead as you are then suddenly a part of you wakes up. Maybe without a soul or recognition of what you are or were before in your past life. Even if you do remember the part of you that controls you doesn't want to control you anymore. Lets you go free and then you do what the situation requires you to do, either be killed or kill to survive.

The concept of zombies in a way is based around human existence. When humans live their lives the first time, they live as normal people, trying to cope with the social order of the society, living out their lives as much as they can to the fullest. They die and rot beneath the earth, souls go somewhere else and left behind is a void that needs to be filled.

According to many beliefs there will be a resurrection one day for all humans. It reminds me of the same concept again, humans get up and walk as zombies over the face of the earth. Having no souls they don't know what to do or whom to kill or eat.

Losing one's soul seems to me like a gradual process not done in a moment or so. Effects start showing early on in our lives. Feelings of greed, doing better than others, not liking others winning, wanting to show them off, desire to beat others, kill too in some situations. Some people control these emotions, others can't even in their lives. So the transition to the state of a zombie is gradual but it's happening.

I suppose this is the reason why humans are attracted towards this concept even though sounds very grotesque and dirty even. But again, it's much more close to reality that you'd think.

Nasa's Predicament

During the heat of the space race in the 1960's, NASA quickly discovered that ballpoint pens would not work in the zero gravity confines of its space capsules. After considerable research and development, the Astronaut Pen was developed at a cost of $1 million. The pen worked in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost any surface including glass and also enjoyed some modest success as a novelty item back here on earth.

The Soviet Union, when faced with the same problem, used a pencil.

The Pope's Surprise

Many years ago, a beloved Pope died and went to heaven. Saint Peter greeted him in a firm embrace. "Welcome your holiness, your dedication and unselfishness in serving your fellow man during your life has earned you great stature in heaven. You may pass through the gates without delay and are granted free access to all parts of heaven."
St. Peter continued: "You are also granted an open-door policy and may, at your own discretion, meet with any heavenly leader including the Father, without prior appointment. Is there anything which your holiness desires?"
"Well, yes," the Pope replied. "I have often pondered some of the mysteries which have puzzled and confounded theologians through the ages. Are there perhaps any transcripts which recorded the actual conversations between God and the prophets of old? I would love to see what was actually said, without the dimming of memories over time."
St. Peter immediately ushered the Pope to the heavenly library and explained how to retrieve the various documents. The Pope was thrilled and settled down to review the history of humanity's relationship with God.
Two years later, a scream of anguish pierced the quiet of the library. Immediately several of the saints and angels came running.
They found the Pope pointing to a single word on a parchment, repeating over and over: "There's an 'R'. There's an 'R.' There's an 'R'... It's CELIBRATE, not celibate!"

Read Dan Brown - Inferno!

Quite easily one of the best books he's written yet. This time Robert Langdon finds himself lost in a labirynth of lies and truths and has to figure out the reality from the illusion. Struck with amnesia he doesn't really know whom to trust anymore.

Only following his instinct and the clues presented in front of him he uncovers a new truth that is going to change the shape of this world in a way never thought possible before!

It's  a must read!

How to control too many thoughts running through your head

Sometimes it so happens that you are alone or at work, could be both, and thinking about relatively something else not directly related to your work or to yourself. Any problem that has been the cause of some concern or any past occurrences that were not at all pleasant for you.

In these type of situations its not easy to concentrate on anything else and you start losing control over yourself. Its not easy to get control back over your mind and thoughts keep on running deep and deep in your mind.

Some solutions to counter this situation could be to take some time off. Go to a relaxing place where you feel comfortable. Call a friend who can help you counter these thoughts. Just start thinking about positive things. Believe in yourself that you can handle all your problems even though they look really hard. Just stop worrying.

Because the reality is, that life isn't perfect. We keep on hoping that there will be a time when all the worries will be gone and everything is going to be alright, it's just a myth. That is not the reality. There are always going to be some challenges, which is what makes our lives more interesting, but, trust me, you will always find ways to conquer all challenges, don't give up. Hang in there and keep trying.

Looking forward to read "Inferno" by Dan Brown

Fourth in the Robert Langdon series this one has got to be as exciting as all the others. Brown released the book's title on his website on January 15, 2013, after prompting readers to help reveal a digital mosaic using social media posts, and revealed the cover in late February of 2013. The cover depicts the famous Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiorelocated in Florence, Italy.

Symbolism in doors

Have you ever wondered what went behind the mind of a human being in the creation and installation of doors in buildings? Me neither. Seems obvious doesn't it. That where there should be a place, building or a boundary, there should be a door.

But lets think about this, what created the need for such a thing? I will tell you a story ...

In the beginning of times when humans were scarce and small in number. They never really cared about doors or windows. They were happy living in their caves and trees. Sometimes they had to scare off animals and had to light fires outside to keep animals at bay. Then as the time passed on humans started covering up their entrences with wooden or stone slabs at nights to protect themselves in a better manner from threats.

Lets shed some more light on the word threat.

A statement of an intention to inflict pain, injury, damage, or other hostile action on someone in retribution for something done or not...: "the family has received death threats"

A menace of bodily harm, such as may restrain a person's freedom of action.

So if a door was introduced to keep foriegn threats outside, to avoid unwanted guests, others from taking over one's place then doors can be considered as symbols of 'avoidance and mistrust'.

Further since humans do allow some individuals close to them inside the doors from time to time and others whom with time they come to know better shows that even though humans are social animals still they need to categorize themselves in social circles and can't let everybody join that circle instantaneously.

That is the reason why humans like to emphasize so much on territories and boundaries.

Thinking on a wider scale, doors show that we as people never really can live together and would rather stay apart unless there are some common interests that serve us in living together.

How often do people share their inner most secrets with others? Hardly ever. Even if there is a friend or a lover with whom they share everything still there are certain thoughts and conjectures that stay inside never to see the surface and be heard of ever. There is a partition that we like to create of our thoughts and ideas within ourselves hidden from the world. Unless there is a need to share them, in a more reformed manner, in a way we deem suitable or in a manner we see fit to the world or that will not have any adverse affect on us. That is, if someone is in a reasonable frame of mindset.

Doors are just an extension of the human state of feeling insecure and finding ways to secure themselves from any foriegn threats. Physical or psychological. Humans are never really at ease unless they know they are secure and warm.

But isn't that just obvious?

I would give up my Hummer

We hear so much, give this up in the name of your Lord. Give that up. Etc Etc. Well I was thinking that  even though I don't have one but I would like to give up my Hummer in the name of God.

What I would like to do is purchase a brand new one, all shiny and black with a shade of red in it. Drive it like crazy on top of hills and rocks and really wreck it. Run it into walls, hills, barricades and what not. I mean like really do things that are unimaginable with a vehicle such as a hummer.

Then once its really wrecked and the chesis is out of shape then shower patrol on top of it and light it up. There goes my sacrifice in the name of Lord. Take my sacrifice my Lord I did it all for you. The fire lit in background with hummer burning and exploding in the darkness of the night is a symbol of the Lord's light and fire burning in my heart. It's the Lord doing His work in me and I am lit in his fire. Burning and being consumed.

There goes the new Hummer up into the smoke as it explodes like Lava out of a mountain that was dormant for so many years it is the sacrifice that I would like to do for my Lord.

Now wouldn't that be fun?
